I can't think of anything more that Larry could have done for us than he did. First, his patience -- over the past 5 years Larry graciously fielded questions from us as we readied the house for sale. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give Larry Barasch an 11. No I'm not an easy marker. I just want to give a fair and accurate appraisal. Larry exceeded all our expectations. First he did a complete and unbiased review of our house - both good and not so good. Then he gave us his research as well as his recommendation on a selling price. Larry, my wife and I met and we were impressed with his knowledge of the area and his honesty so we agreed on the selling price he had proposed. As our primary residence was now out of state we wanted to close as soon as possible while still getting as high a price as possible. We also worried that if the price were too high - it might take a long time for a buyer to commit. It turned out that we got a buyer fairly quickly at the price Larry suggested. So he knows his market. As I said, we were living out of state during the time between the offer and the closing. As it happens there were unforeseen problems with the house that we had to fix including a leaking oil burner (now entirely replaced) and a bees nest that had to be removed. Larry went above and beyond to help us with these and other issues as we were not living in the house at the time. I would also commend Larry for his timely communication with us. As we were not living in the house we had no idea who or how many people saw the house, what they said, etc. He had just the right level of letting us know what was going on without being annoying. Larry was also very responsive to answering our questions. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell in the area. My wife and I were very pleased with the outcome."
